Understanding the notifications area and what you can configure on it.

If you have one or more wallets connected, which is very likely if you are trying not to manually subscribe and unsubscribe from everything, then you may want some additional control over what news reach you and which not.
Maybe you have a trading wallet and you do not need news on things you are only holding for a few hours or days at a time, or maybe your cold wallet is staked with your own pool and you do not need updates from yourself?
On the notifications page, you can configure for which wallets you get notifications, and for which types of activities. You can see your current stake pool that you have delegated to, as well as your dReps. In addition, you can also configure which global notifications about on-chain events you would like to receive.
Turning off notifications for a specific wallet and type is as simple as toggling the respective switch on the matching wallet card. The following wallet has token notifications turned off, but will get updates on their stake pool and dRep.
If you explicitly subscribe to a project, you will get notifications regardless of your wallet settings. The wallet settings control the default notification status for all items related to it, but do not override any custom settings for a project.
